When I originally started my blog, one question I was asked more often than not was where I find my inspiration.
Inspiration; my best friend and my greatest foe. There are days when I stare at my phone screen for hours on end looking for inspiration, while there are also times when it flows, like water down the stream, like the blood in my veins.
I find my inspiration in any and every thing. From the colour blue of the sky when I wake up early in the morning, to the crunch of gravel under my feet; beautiful breezes which make trees hug themselves, and the eagle that soars overhead. I find inspiration in the peaceful rushing of the stream and in idle banter on the road, the screeching of tires, the smell of smoke.
Being a writer is one of the greatest things in the world, I can paint images with my words, tug at your olfactory sense with my narrative and make you hear the voices in my head as though they were right next to you.
Inspiration is to be found in all things. In fact, it’s in the very air we breathe.
Find what inspires you and chase after it with a passion!
Next post on Sunday.
